POONHILL - HOT SPRING LOOP

A great option for a short trek is the Ghorepani – Ghandruk loop. On this trek, after trekking to Poon Hill, rather then re-tracing our steps to Pokhara, we carry on to another beautiful village called Tadapani, meaning “water that’s far away” in Nepali. As this trek is a couple of days longer than the Poon Hill Express, it gives you a better chance to explore the area and enjoy its amazing natural beauty. From a scenic point of view, you will get a closer view of Annapurna South (7219mtrs), Hiunchuli (6441mtrs) as well as the sacred, and never climbed mountain of Nepal: Macchapuchre (Fishtail in English). The Ghandruk village is another major attraction of this trek where you can learn about the Gurung local ethnic group. The white cap peaks will be smiling at you throughout the whole trek, provided good weather.
