LaMa Walks

The mighty Himalayas are breathtakingly beautiful, but very dangerous, which is an often overlooked fact. The high altitude, extreme conditions and limited infrastructure on treks, the very features that make an adventure in Nepal exciting and appealing, must be respected.

As Executive Director of Himalayan Medics, LaMa regularly travels to remote communities to train them on emergency preparedness, and has incorporated these important elements into the LaMa Walks business.

Knowledge and understanding of various risks is essential, and appropriate mitigation measures and contingency plans based on the risks of each unique adventure will always be mapped out and discussed with clients by the trip leader.
